Paternity Disputes
Paternity disputes usually, but not always involve unmarried couples who are unaware of their rights or obligations under the law.
When a child is born to unmarried parents, and the father is not named on the birth certificate, the father does not have legal rights to child custody or visitation. However, custody and visitation can be established via a paternity action.
Other paternity disputes may involved the father denying his relationship to the child.
Either of the above mentioned can be handled through Fred L. Howe Law Office.
